I can’t believe it was a year ago from today that I finished my DIY nightstands. This is probably the project I’m most proud of to date! (And it was one of my very first ones🤷🏼♀️) I had never built furniture before but with some trial and error I put together two pieces that I absolutely love and give such a custom look to our room. .
Best part is that they don’t just look good (IMO 😂) but they are also so functional! Swipe right to see what I installed to have easy and eco-friendly access to all my chargers. . #diylove#diytable#beyondtheclock
The value of a #view : “The value of two identical properties located in the same district, could differ between 5% and 45%, most probably 15%, as a result of their view. ► Properties with view of important monuments attract the highest premium, more than 40%. The effect of sea and urban parks is also significant.”
A little master bedroom update! Sometimes you just have to go with what your eye (and heart) is drawn to and I knew when I received my beautiful @pinkorchidinteriors cushions that I wanted a little black in this room 🖤 I plan on changing the frames for black ones and popping a black rug I already have under the feet of the bed. I also picked up these lamps today in @therangeuk (how dreamy!) and I feel they really compliment the height of the bed perfectly (I also moved my @arista.living bed into this room from the spare room too) so happy with these little changes. AD- bed has been gifted from company as part of a collaboration.
After 13 years of marriage I decided it was probably time to have a bedroom I loved. Not only a sanctuary for Trevor and I, but something cute and cozy. I set a timeline to get this accomplished and will slowly work on it for the next few months.
I came across some signs I desperately wanted to hang over my bed, but I could not bring myself to pay the hefty price tag. This is my constant inner battle: do I pay to have someone else make it or suck it up and make it myself? You see, I don’t love crafting. I don’t love spending tons of money even more. I especially don’t love it when I know I could make whatever it is I want for a fraction of the price.
After dragging my feet, I finally completed the signs myself yesterday. They’re not perfect, but I love me some cheap decorating and diy-ing! Now only like 54 more projects and adjustments to make (like swapping those pillowcases out for some plain white ones, and the opposite wall that leaves me guessing). Any suggestions welcome. Or just come over and do it for me 😆. So tell me, are you a crafter? Or would you rather pay someone else to do your dirty work 😜?
Happy Sunday! Hope you are enjoying St Patrick’s day! 🍀 on my way to a wedding and off tomorrow! Woot woot!! 💃🏼 all the deets on my #masterbedroom on my blog! 😘💕 http://liketk.it/2Axnx #firstname.lastname@example.org
