We’re excited to have @202creates on our roster for tomorrow!
202Creates does 3 important things: it promotes and amplifies the District's creative economy and creative residents through digital media marketing, content creation, and original television programming; it connects District residents with government resources, educational opportunities, and space to support their creative work and grow their creative businesses; and it builds an interdisciplinary community by connecting creative District residents with each other through events and networking activities.
See you all at #theofficepartydc from 6-9pm tomorrow.
❄️ February 1-3 in Canal Park ❄️ This was such a fun event last year so I’m bundling up and bringing out my cribbage boards for another weekend of embracing the cold like Duluth knows how to! Event kick off is Friday night and I’ll be there Saturday (11-4) & Sunday (10-1) in the heated event tent alongside other local business and pop ups!
Fun fact: this event last year was the first main event I introduced my travel cribbage boards and my business hasn’t been the same since. These little travelin’, ramblin’ pocket boards make for the perfect “anywhere you go” take along and I’ll have a whole batch with me next weekend. Stop out and enjoy the winter! ❄️❄️❄️ @canalpark@duluthparksmn@city_of_duluth@visit_duluth@innonlakesuperior@kumd1033fm@wdiowirt@playduluth@imagineduluth@gdcduluth
This time 3 years ago I had recently come back from Australia and had made a decision to give all I had to make painting my career. It's what I've always loved, it's the only thing I knew I'd always be happy doing, and I knew I would only regret it if I didn't try. It's been hard work and a lot of investment of time, energy and money. Of course there's been self doubt along the way and days when things just don't go to plan, but it's a learning curve and it's important to not give up. Give yourself some time to take a step back, reassess and get re-inspired. It's not always easy but it's so worth it 🤗 I'm incredibly lucky to be doing what I love and I'm a true believer in chasing your dreams. You've got to at least try, otherwise you'll always wonder what might have been possible... ✨
Custom notecards and matching mug I did awhile back! This illustration was so much fun to paint, includes the client with her two dachshund dogs and of course herself too! ♻️🐶🍷

How do you start your day? ☀️It’s so easy to wake up and get focused on a to do list or the projects & things that need to get done. 📝I know when I don’t give God the time, I lose out on what He has for me and completely miss opportunities. The last few days I’ve made a commitment to do the following daily:
1. Read Jesus Calling and my Bible
2. Say my affirmations out loud
3. Pray + journal
4. Say 3 things I’m thankful for out loud
5. Pour myself an energy fizz stick to boost my morning cause Lord knows @doooker and I are obsessed because THEY WORK! 🤪
Now it’s your turn! GLASS STRAW BY @simplystraws RISE UP #hausofrise

I will probably do this type of photos until the end of March , because I'm not going outside💔 I'm sick yet again and I really don't like being sick! There's two things I hate the most, sore throat and hiccups!🤧 I hope you have more productive and lovely week than I. Also, I'm obsessed with this top! Another reason why I can't wait for warmer days!😋
“It’s crucial to remember that the art you make begins on the canvas of your heart, as a seed germinating in your interior world, and then grows outward as an extension of who you are.” ~ Stephen Roach.
Love this! From the introduction of 5 Creativity Killers, an excellent little e-book I found over @makersandmystics
Thanks Stephen Roach for continually providing resources for artists to explore what it means to live out our faith as we create art that is an extension of who we are and is used to serve and love others.
Link to Stephen Roach’s free e-book in my bio AND if you haven’t listened to Makers and Mystics podcast, you should definitely check it out!
I often get asked why we produce all of our jewelry in a place as far away from the Showroom as Upstate New York. The truth is that this was a really circumstantial move that turned out to be a great thing for CMD. Over on the blog yesterday, I wrote a lot about the changes we're seeing in how people are shopping over the last several years - especially here in San Francisco. I'm curious to hear what you think is next? How will retail look in five, or ten years down the road? Visit the link in our bio to read more and join in the discussion here in the comments or on Facebook. It takes a village, and as an intentional community, I believe we can create positive change and thrive together.
We’re slowly bringing in some amazing new items after the madness that was the holiday season. One of our newest additions are these beautiful new candles by AromaSoy!
AromaSoy candles are handmade right here in Ohio using only high quality and nontoxic ingredients. With scents like Pine Forest, Oakmoss Amber, Lemon Mint, and Blue Spruce Teakwood (current fave) you’ll be sure to find one you love! Stop in and check them out! Smells are always free, but we’re pretty sure you won’t be able to resist taking one home with you.
