The majority of you said that mid- end of the week was best, with most of you choosing the end of the week. So, popular vote wins, and I’ll be posting 2 dinner ideas (recipes and shopping list included) each week on Saturday. My goal is to provide a wide variety of dinner ideas, including some vegetarian options, quick dinners, and some that take a little more time. (But not too much time 😉) All of the recipes I share with you are my own. I believe food should taste really delicious and I love creating it, but the best part besides eating it, is sharing these recipes with you. Because let’s be real. . Sometimes meal planning is hard. Been busy today making poppies, I'm now on number six and just need to do the leaf and bake it, varnish and then put the broach backs onto them all, considering they take between 3-4 hours each (it's the little black bits that take the longest putting them on one by one and making them as thin as cotton thread) it's been a busy few days, now my back is in agony (gotta hate chronic pain) so I'm going to take a break for the rest of the night and start again tomorrow, I've got enough broach backs for 8 poppies in total, so I've had to order more of them and the place I buy them from is out of stock, so I've spent hours searching for another seller and only just found one, my hands are now bright red, so I'm gonna clean up and relax for the rest of the evening and spend time with the hubby. #polymerclaypoppy#nomouldsusedhere#handmadebyme#needtotakeabreak#polymerclaypoppies#foundsomethingilove#itsdinnertime#handsaresore

These knives are one of my favorite pieces of “kid equipment.” We’ve had them for years, and I can’t tell you how many thousands of uses they’ve had! I searched and searched and finally came across Curious Chef knives on Amazon. They’re made out of nylon and have the perfect handle for little hands to maneuver, and if these little hands don’t quite have the dexterity to keep their fingers out of the way of cutting, they will get no more than a quick ouch reminder which will help them to have a healthy respect of knives. Of course they’re not sharp enough to cut through everything, but when the kids are running around the house like maniacs while I’m prepping dinner, I love sitting them up on the counter to cut green beans, cucumbers, peppers, carrots, broccoli, lettuce, and they love knowing they are part of the process.
