I love vintage! I love the hunt, I love the worn textures, I love the stories behind them. It is easy to see why collecting and selling vintage merchandise is my job and my love. In my stories last night, I showed how I reused an old medicine cabinet (again) but this time in my kitchen. Here it is all styled up! I kinda love it 💚. Also, it didn’t cost me any more money because I already had it and all the lovely vintage items that I styled it with. HA! Win! Win! 🖤. Okay, lastly, can we just take a second to smile at the old flash card? In it’s entirety, it reads Sweep with Zeal! I used to NEVER decorate with metal accents. But then copper & I found each other. The rest is history.
So far I’ve added this kettle, a spoon rest, a storage canister, a faux plant in a copper pot, and a candle. Do you like to incorporate metal accents? 🖤

Should we stay, or should we go?! If you’ve been following my insta stories then you know we found our next home. A gorgeous loft style farmhouse in the cutest historic town!! 🏠 The price is under budget, but the commute is longer, and now our deadline of making an offer is fast approaching (but we also love our current condo so much too). Oh pro’s and cons, tell me friends... how do you know when it’s time to jump + welcome new opportunities?! I’d love to hear your thoughts!!! 🏠

Who wouldn’t want such a large and lovely space when preparing a warm meal for guests? 🙂 Photo credit: @devolkitchens
This farm fresh sign would be the perfect accent for the kitchen.

When Facebook reminds you of the exhausting blur that was a whole house DIY renovation, you do a side by side to remind yourself how awesome it all turned out. (Swipe right to see this same spot after we opened the wall to see what the options were).
Take me back to the days when everything was crafted beautifully. When shipping boxes weren’t cardboard, but rather, wooden trunks with intricate metal details and packaging for everyday items was never paper, but made of ironstone like the ones shown here. Back then, these very pretty and oh so stylish vessels were usually thrown away after their contents were consumed. Luckily, my talented friend, Joy @savvycityfarmer procures these 100 year old beauties from London, where they are excavated from under ground. They are becoming highly sought after and the supply won’t last forever. You can currently find an impressive collection of various shapes & sizes on the @savvycityfarmer website, which is linked in her bio.
Let's get cooking! 🥕🥔🥒🥬
I cannot wait to try out these dinners from @hellofresh I chose 3 meals a week for 2 people. Now I did see you can get a family option (with kid friendly meals) but Mila is SUPER picky so I decided not to try the family dinners. You can change your plan at anytime, and also skip a week 😃 The reason why I wanted to try this is because I find myself wasting ingredients that I just needed for maybe one or two meals but not for the rest of the meals during the week and that's money wasted! This makes dinner planning much easier. I don't even have to think about it! I know I have a yummy meal waiting for me to cook that's quick and easy. Prices are not bad either!!! 🙋🏼♀️You can choose your meals each week and you can cancel at anytime.🌱 If you want to try Hello Fresh use my code ➡️ MANWHEE to get $40 off your first week!
