Tonight has been an off night. Actually, we have been taking every Wednesday and Friday off. But, tonight was alittle different as I took a self care time and started my spring co-ed softball league. I have a VERY competitive side to me... just ask my husband🤭
Anyways, this is behind the scenes of what we actually look like when we work! This is a reality picture as we do not look “pretty” per say but the project will always look amazing when it’s done ✨

Wow! Look at those windows. My ultimate kitchen. Posted @withrepost • @sweetcountryliving The morning time is my favorite time of the day and Gods morning light flooding in fills up my soul. It’s when the world is most quiet and peaceful and the crows of the roosters and the chirps of the birds are so clear. .
It’s one of the reasons I feel so fortunate to be able to homeschool, it allows us to move slow in the mornings and enjoy these simple pleasures 😊. .

Don't be afraid to make mistakes, be afraid of not learning from them.
Last week we stayed at a darling little beach house in Newport Beach California. It had everything we needed: warm beds, air conditioning and heat, all the kitchen gadgets and appliances, running water, toilets, a couch and a table to eat on. It had a charming little patio and outdoor furniture. We were content and happy being trapped in 1200 square feet for a week with our kids.
It reminded me that sometimes I am not content when we are at home. Why? We have everything we need and more. So tonight as I peer into my kitchen from the darkening outdoor patio, I see a home that has everything we need. People were headed home for dinner around the table, conversation and time together would be a reprieve from a busy day. I am content. I am happy. I have everything I need and more.

So in love with this modern farm look!
Truth be told. I loaded my dishes in my NOT so white kitchen and realized I ran out of dish washer detergent and saw it was already um😐 10:30 pm. There’s no way I am going outside to get it. Lazy me. Thank goodness 😅 for google I had mixed the baking soda, 3 drops of Palmolive, and some salt. Dishes came out super clean and shiny.
I can’t take all the credit for this photo📷. I just love ❤️ what our customers did with their design and with our doors we made! •
I remember the day the couple came to our shop to talk about their project. We spent a lot of time working out the details for the doors. Phil seemed very handy and had the all the specifications for the pantry he was going to build for his wife, Tonia. We came up with just the right design for the space and the size for the doors. •
Once the doors were built, we sent them pics as we worked thru the finishing process. When working with reclaimed wood, there is always of a lot tweaking and finessing with colors. We have our “special sauce” concocted especially for barn doors! •
