"Designing a garden, as opposed to just planting it, gives you the power to control the space you have before you." - John Brookes (English landscape designer)
The terrain of the Grid garden was a perfect location to build the geometric chess-like landscape. Its length and width enable us to maximize the space of the terrain, forming 51 squares that gives us an illusion of an endless cubic pattern .

« Architectures is an art collection of functional sculptures designed by Karl Lagerfeld and inspired by Antiquity, referred to as the origin of beauty, culture, and modernity by the designer.
Lagerfeld’s contemporary art is only available as limited edition of eight pieces in each marble color, plus four artist proofs, each sculptural art is made with the special marble, which is then precisely cut, sculpted, faceted and polished in Italy by the best craftsmen, to achieve the vibrant exactness of the elements. The lighting works to diffuse specific daylight, the designer particularly appreciates, like a laser blade from the future. The shades of the table lamps are distinctively hand-painted in the most traditional technique of decorative arts, pushing the boundaries of craftsmanship and traditions. The ensemble of gueridons, tables, lamps, consoles, fountains, and mirrors materialize the perfect balance of classical foundations with a present-day vibe like modern mythology turned into modern art. » in ILOBOYOU.com #art#karllagerfeld#contenporary#architecturallandscape#architectures#marble#greece#limitededition#fashion

North-Sea harbor, with working progress. It's one of my favourite places. "Greetsiel" Sailingboats and fishing cutters were still in the harbor. And always a fresh breeze comming in.
Vasilica Lucic’s 2017-18 project is about a landscape of juxtaposed engagements and exchange, generated from the urban dusts, by products of the long term processes of regeneration. Using the conditions imposed by the constant change of the urban fabric, demolition and construction, the project aims to propose a new cultural environment for the materialisation of the erased. @vasilisalucic#topographies#convoyswharf#architecturallandscape
