St. Augustine, Florida is a great city to visit during the Christmas holidays. The historic city is in the northeast of Florida on the Atlantic coast providing some beach and ocean experience to your holiday. Our full-time traveling family spent all of December in 2017 visiting St.Augustine and found ourselves enchanted by all the holiday festivities.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FRIENDS! 🎅
👉 How do you celebrate Christmas?
👉What’s your favorite Christmas tradition?
My parents are visiting from Colombia so we had dinner and watches zombie movies until midnight (The Bird Box on Netflix is weird but good). Like most spanish people we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. Looking forward to spending Christmas Day at the beach!
👉What are you guys up to today?

And so it was my first Christmas in Florida. Without snow, without going down the hill on a sledge, without hot tea, but with new impressions of a green winter and a big family celebration. Somehow 8 ppl didn’t get to be on the pictures. #christmastime#nosnow#christmasinflorida

Well, it’s official. I’m ready to go back. I don’t mind winter but when it starts getting into the negatives I’m OUT. We visited Naples while in Florida and they decked out all of their trees with lights. Regardless of how many lights you put on a palm tree it doesn’t feel like Christmas without snow 🤦🏼♀️😹 And it happened. I caught the sickness. Everyone around me has gotten sick and apparently I didn’t eat enough probiotic filled chia pudding or drink enough vitamin packed smoothies to fight it. Which means chicken noodle soup is going to be my bff this week. 😐😅 I’ll be posting the soup recipe tomorrow so let’s hope it does the trick 😉

On a scale of one to basic, how cute are my leg warmers?!
Christmas in Florida brought me back to the holidays of my Las Vegas childhood. The plastic wreaths flocked in faux snow and twee ornaments of seashells (in Vegas we’d have, I don’t know, rattlesnakes or playing cards) make what was already gaudy feel somehow chintzier, more striving, especially since I’d just been wandering Old World European Christmas markets that look like storybooks. But having grown up with Christmas-as-storebought-aesthetic I felt more at home in shorts listening to Bing drift from the beachside restaurant’s speakers than I did trying to warm my hands with glögg along the harbor in Nyhavn. Maybe I’m homesick or maybe it’s just that I feel better when I know I’m not about to lose a finger to frostbite. #latergram#christmasinflorida#myholidays#beachfront#pompanobeach#floridabeaches#florida_greatshots#christmasvacation

This Christmas was in sunny warm Florida 🌞 I had a chance meet this beautiful family from Mexico and we had so much fun! It was amazing time right before Christmas Eve day.
I wasn’t going to post this because I thought it’s probably too late to post Christmas pictures. But then I was like, “Am I too late, or am I just early for this year?” 🎄💁🏽♀️ In the spirit of reminiscing, what’s your favorite holiday tradition? Did you start any new traditions in 2018 that you’ll carry over into this year?

Mood: when someone takes the last piece of ‘zaaa 🍕
Not your typical snowy, cuddled by the fire Christmas pics. This is Christmas in Florida.🌴 🌺 🎄
I blame myself partially for my inability to get cute, Christmas outfit wearing, Santa hat topped pictures of my babies. I woke up this morning and realized I hadn’t gotten Christmas outfits for them. In a hurry, I drove to Walgreens (the only store open for miles) hoping they’d have SOMETHING. Two Mrs. Claus outfits fit for a 20 pound dog and one Santa hat along with some dogs treats and a mini reindeer collar were left on the shelves. I figured I’d try to squeeze my fat shamed Queen in the “medium” Mrs. Claus outfit and work my magic to get King to sit pretty in a Santa hat made for a human (no strap to go around the neck). 🎄
Swipe for the best I could get... 😅
Merry Christmas from me and mine to you and yours❣️❣️
